Richelle Rodriguez

SoCalPowerhouseRichelle has been dancing for over 23 years. She is a graduate of Cal State University, Fullerton with a Bachelors of Arts in Dance, performing with Fullerton’s Dance Repertoire Company, and is currently a Certified Power Pilates Instructor and dance teacher. She has trained in various dance genres including: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, African, and Modern Dance. From 2007-2011 she was a Los Angeles Laker Girl, performing at all of the pre-season games and home games at Staples Center, featured in (currently) the only two Laker Girl Swimsuit Calendars to hit stands, attending community charity events, performing professionally for Rihanna, and public appearances throughout Southern California; including a Toyota commercial, The Bold and Beautiful soap opera, and two Super Bowl commercials with Fox Sports West; just to name a few. In January 2015, she started her own business, So Cal Powerhouse Academy. Her goal was to always give back to the community she was born and raised in, sharing her knowledge, experiences, passions, and resources.

Kathy Duran

Kathy Duran HeadshotKathy Duran’s passion for the art of dance began in 1992 and has led her through extensive dance and performance experience. She has studied in many styles of dance including Modern, Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Acrobatics, Tumbling, Cheer, Hip Hop, Musical Theater and Swing. Kathy’s early dance career took her through 10 years of competitive dancing, and earned her many national dance titles. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Dance from California State University, Fullerton graduating with highest honors. She also performed with Fullerton’s Dance Repertoire Company and was chosen to perform at the prestigious Kennedy Center in Washington DC. Kathy received her Pilates certification from the world renowned Body Arts and Science International, and her Acrobatic Teaching Certification from Acrobatic Arts. Continuing her career as a professional dancer, Kathy is honored to be a current member of Fuse Modern Dance Inc. She currently enjoys teaching dance, tumbling and Pilates to students of all ages and levels, and is thrilled to be a part of the Powerhouse Academy family.

Kendall Russo 

 SoCalPowerhouseKendall has been dancing for over 18 years. She is a graduate of Cal State University, Fullerton with a Bachelors of Arts in Dance and is a certified Zumba Fitness Instructor. She has trained in various dance genres including Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, African, Ballet, and Modern dance. She recently performed in the summer of 2014 at the John F. Kennedy Center of Performing Arts in Washington D.C.

In 2014, her choreography was nationally recognized at the American College Dance Festival in Montana. In 2015, she choreographed Temescal Canyon High school’s Varsity Dance Team’s award winning 1st place National Championship Jazz routine.

She has also choreographed for IVCBT’s Performing Arts Corporation, as well as the International Chinese Network and China National Television Network.

 Bria Biggs

SoCalPowerhouseBria is a trained dancer, with over 20 years of experience. She is trained in Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Lyrical/Contemporary, Tap, African and Hip Hop. She was a Los Angeles SparKid for 5 years for the WNBA Sparks and was also a Los Angeles Laker Girl for 5 years for the NBA Los Angeles Lakers.

Bria has danced professionally for Mariah Carey, Rihanna, and Brian McKnight. She has appeared in commercials and danced on the Disney channel as well. Bria earned a BA in Dance from the University of California Irvine. And is also a member of the Dance Staff for TSC (The Spirit Consultants) where she travels to choreograph and teach her dances to young adults.

Bria is currently a working, professional dancer and NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Nutrition Specialist.

Stefanie Mosby

Stefanie is a trained dancer with over 21 years of experience. She is trained in Jazz, Jazz funk, Lyrical and Hip Hop. She was on her National Championship Highschool Songleading Team. While on Aliso Niguel HS Song, she and her team appeared in the Disney channel original film “Gotta Kick it Up”.

After Highschool she completed on K-Otic Groove an All Star Hip Hop team. In 2007, she became a Los Angeles Laker Girl, during her 2 years on the team she was a host for Lakers TV. She’s appeared in dance DVDs (Dances Like That, and Moves Like this). She has choreographed dance routines for PMW Live and other various artist around the county. She has also done freelance modeling jobs for various photographers.

She is currently working as a personal trainer in Newport Coast at a boutique style facility and dancing as much as she can!

Veronica Lee

Veronica Lee

Veronica is an experienced dancer and performer. She began her training over 22 years ago starting with ballet, tap, jazz, and broadway at a performing arts studio. Later on she added hip hop, contemporary and jazz funk genres to her practice. Veronica also started playing basketball and other sports along side dancing at an early age. This lead her to earning a spot as varsity point guard and varsity high jumper back in high school.
Over the years Veronica has been a cast member in various musical theater productions, performed with Mt. San Antonio College’s Repertory Company and participated in the American College Dance Festival Association. She has danced professionally for Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, Rihanna, Sony Pictures, iPOP LA, and from 2009 to 2012 she was a Los Angeles Laker Girl.
Veronica is a CSUF Alum, and has been working full time in the action sports industry for the last 7 years. Dancing is her number one passion, and she can’t wait to share that passion with you at Powerhouse’s 360 Dance Clinics! Veronica always enjoys sharing the beautiful art of dance and performing, and the importance of living a healthy and active lifestyle.
